Author! Author! Blog Bounce!

Hidey ho my toasty little love monkeys!

Well, it is officially December! I’ve got my family photo page done and my holiday cards purchased, so now I just need to carve out some time to send them out. Yep, I still throw it down old school style and rock the snail mail holiday greetings. Why do I still do it, even though every year I get less and less in return? For that reason I just stated. BECAUSE I get less, I get the sense that holiday greeting card via snail mail is a dying tradition.

How about you? Do you still send out seasons greetings? Do you do the family photo, the what-happened-this-year letter or just a card? I’m just curious :)

Alrighty, let’s get on with the bounce, shall we?

Now, we’ve done this for some time now, so you all know how it works right? So pick up your paddle ball set and bounce on over to Omnific’s blog!

Pirate paddle ball, naturally! Okay, truth? I loathe paddle ball! Why? Well, for the simple reason that I am paddle ball challenged. It’s that damn elastic string that throws me. I can work the paddle with a string free ball like no one’s business though!

Another truth the term “free ball” makes me think of a dude going commando and that sends me into fits of giggles, because let’s face it, I’m really just a 12yr old boy on the inside. I think farts are funny and could probably live off of Pixie Stix, Kool Aid, and Mac-N-Cheese if left to my own devices.

But, I digress.

So bounce along, say hi to my homies, join in and I promise I’ll post a picture of a pretty boy in tomorrow’s blog :D You know you want THAT!

That’s it today, my love monkeys, stay tuned for tomorrow’s Happy Friday blog!

Until next time,

Patty <3

LOL! Yeah, I think my Aunt Lavere would freak if I didn’t send her a Christmas card with a family photo in it.

The prospect of sending Christmas cards brings on a fit of anxiety. I never feel like I have enough time to write them, and since it’s just me and my cat, I don’t have family photos to share. Maybe I’ll send out a few to loved ones and throw in a couple of my bookmarks.

I always look forward to your bizarre photos for the Author Blog Bounce, and today you didn’t let me down ha ha.

Dude, I’m totally throwing bookmarks in mine LOL! And there is a photo of the cat & dog in the family photo page, they are my furry kids :)

I’m glad my weird photos can give you a giggle, now if I could only get my butt in gear and have photos stored up ahead of time instead of beating my head against the keyboard 20mins before I post the blog LOL!

Yes, as you know, being my daughter and all, I still do the snail-mail cards. And yes, it’s true, every year cards received, get less and less. I think it’s sad that some traditions are a dying breed. But as long as my brain still functions, (stop laughing Patty) and I can still hold a pen, I will continue to send cards via snail-mail.

P.S. Yep, your Aunt LaVere would have a hemorrhage.

If you think she’ll hemorrhage over NOT getting a card, I’m sure I’m gong to get a lecture for the photos in this year’s card HAHA!

Way to guilt me! Every year I say I’m not gonna do traditional cards…and every year I’m scrambling last minute to do them anyway. *sigh*

I suggest you get Aunt LaVerre’s out toute suite, though, haha.

P.S. You ought to include a character card too—they’re SUPERCOOL!

Ohhhh, good idea! I know, I’ve said that I’m not doing them before and done the same thing, wind up scrambling to send them out on Dec. 22nd LOL.
