Happy Friday: Paging Dr. Ivan!

Posted on by Patricia Leever

Happy Friday my shiny happy love monkeys! Did you gobble up this week like it was made of meat candy, aka the deliciousness that is bacon? You are snarfity snarf right you did!

So, this is going to be a quick little blog because, it’s my birthday and I’mma go get my hair did. But, there will be lots of pretty, you don’t mind do you? I thought not.

Okay, so my publishing house, Omnific Publishing has signed a new authoring team, Everyly Drummond and Dr. Ivan Rusilko, and their book, The Winemakers Dinner due out late summer.

Now, Dr. Ivan on top of being a doctor and an author is also a model and former Mr. USA and when I saw a photo of Dr. Ivan, I about fell over because looking back at me was one of the supporting characters from my new book, Divinity. Here is the description of Christopher Walker as written..

I looked down the hall and saw all six feet, of the dark haired, green eyed hunk of yum wrapped in a tight grey tee-shirt, heading my way.

As many authors will tell you, you have a picture in your head when you write something like this and I kid you not, this was what was in MY head when I wrote that..

Okay, so his eyes are brown and not green and he’s wearing a sweater, but everything else was spot on!

Wait, here he is in a tee shirt..

So yeah, he’s removing said shirt, but does it matter, I’m thinking no.

Here is the little teaser video that my publishing company put together, enjoy 🙂

Have a great weekend my darling little monkeys! I’m sure I will because I’m going to play the birthday card the ENTIRE weekend 😉 Stay tuned for more blog fun next week!

Until next time,

Patty <3

Hidey ho my joyous little love monkeys! How are you all on this fine Thursday?

I gotta say, right now, my heart is filled to overflowing with love, joy and pride in my wonderful daughters!

Now, anyone that has preteen girls can confirm that they aren’t the most pleasant. They’re moody, they think they know everything and at times they make you wish you were one of the creatures that ate their young.

However, today, my girls did something amazing with their Girl Scout troop. Today they went to a local adult daycare center, brought cakepops that they made and helped the clients make sock bunnies.

When I picked them up I wasn’t sure how they were going to respond. Let’s face it, most kids have a hard time dealing with mentally handicapped adults, but when I pulled up I saw the entire troop beaming! The leaders told me that at first all the girls were a little nervous, as to be expected, but after a few minutes they all jumped in to help. The director of the daycare said that she had never had a more amazing group of girls and that our girls had made the day of everyone in the daycare center. My girls went on and on about the clients they worked with and every girl that went asked if they could come back and work with the clients again.

You don’t know how great it feels to know that in a world where so many young people only care about themselves that these girls gave a part of themselves to these people and felt good about it.

So, a big round of applause for Girl Scout Troop 3512! Way to go girls!

Alrighty, since today is Thursday we have some bouncing to do!

You know how it goes right? Bounce those awesome little booties over to the Omnific Publishing Blog Site and bounce along with us!

Be good my lovelies and stay tuned for tomorrow’s Happy Friday post!

Until next time,

Patty <3

Happy Friday: Spring Is In The Air!

Posted on by Patricia Leever

Happy Friday my crispy little love monkeys! Did you thwart the evil doings of this week and smite it with your awesomeness? You’re fiddle-dee-diddle-dee right you did!

We are officially in Spring! I have to say that I have a love/hate relationship with the season of Spring. Why you might ask? Well, let us break it down, shall we..

LOVE: I love the colors, the pretty flowers popping up all over, the longer days, the weather and I’m a Spring baby so there is that.

HATE: With those pretty flowers come a plethora of pollen which wreaks havoc on my allergies and the weather because it could be nice and gorgeous one day and rainy and cold the next.

I guess when you break it down I love more than I hate. However, as of right now, I’m riding the seriously dislike train. Mostly because my allergies are in a serious snit this year, don’t know why AND on Wednesday I got the most horrendous sunburn.

Now, mind you I put on block 50 twice. TWICE I TELL YOU! And yet me and my practically translucent arse manages to still get fried on my chest, arms and one, yes ONE leg. Nothing says sexy like one sunburned leg and a chest that is so burned it looks purple.

Oh yeah, I’m sexy and I know it!

Side note: Don’t try to shave your leg if it redonkulously sunburned because once you start you have to finish because you can’t wander around with one half shaved leg.

You know what, I need something pretty to look at..

Ahhh, that’s better 🙂

Well, that’s all I have for you today my loves, be good little monkeys and have a safe weekend! Stay tuned for more blog funnery.

Until next time,

Patty <3

Happy Friday: Lazy or Resourceful?

Posted on by Patricia Leever

Happy Friday my snuggly little love monkeys!! Did you chase this week down to the end of its proverbial rainbow and steal its pot ‘o gold? You’re sure and begorrah right you did!

So a few quick things before we get down to b’ness. One, I now have a Tumblr account so if for some unforeseen reason I go over my badwidth again, you can head over there and see what the what is with moi! Just click HERE and follow me 🙂

Two, wanna help a little author out? This is an easy and it’s FREE! And you might find something awesome to read by one of my other Omnific sisters that you would have never seen before!! Just follow this link and click the “like” button and then, scroll down to the “tag” section and check all the ones you feel might apply. Haven’t read Cat O’ Nine Tails yet? Well, you can also check out the first 3 chapters for free! Tell your friends!

Okay, on to the title of the blog, laziness vs. resourcefulness. Hubs and I were talking about this last night because he asked me to go tell boy number two that it was his bedtime. So, did I jump up off of the couch like a good little Suzy Homemaker and run up the stairs? If you know me AT ALL you know the answer to that one. No, I picked up my phone and called the boy.

Now, hubs says lazy, I say resourceful.

Not turning on the TV because the remotes are on the other side of the couch and I’d have to actually move to get them, lazy. Turning my chicken enchilada recipe into chicken enchilada casserole, resourceful.

What say you love monkeys? Calling someone who is upstairs from downstairs lazy or resourceful? Consider the context of said argument and I fully admit that the context of said phone call could make it go either way.

Alrighty, that’s all I have for you today, stay tuned for more blog happy fun times!

Until next time,

Patty <3

Hiiiiiiiiidey ho my lucky little love monkeys!

Dude, I haven’t bounced in quite a few moons, huh? Well strap on your helmets because I’m gonna bounce the heck out of ya!

Now, you know I like to entertain you with a bouncy type photo and being as that it’s two days from St. Patrick’s Day, I thought a bouncing leprechaun would be fun. You know what I found out? Leprechauns are kinda scary looking! I was scouring the web and everyone I came across scared the bejeezus out of me a little bit. But have no fear, I tweaked my search wording and looky at what I found for my love monkeys..

Now THAT is a leprechaun I can get on board with! Yeah, I know, he’s not bouncing but really, who cares. When you look like that, all you have to do IS look like that.

Okay, okay, I found this too..

Yep, a bouncing shamrock, I couldn’t leave you without something that bounced, now could I 🙂

So, you know the drill, head on over to Ominfic Publishing’s blog and see who’s bouncing with us

Have a great Thursday my darlings and stay tuned for tomorrow’s Happy Friday!

Until next time,

Patty <3

Divinity Is A GO!

Posted on by Patricia Leever

Greetings my patient little love monkeys!

Yes, as you might have guessed by the title, my latest project has been picked up by Omnific Publishing for publication!

All together now..

For those of you that aren’t aware, this is for my book, an urban fantasy/paranormal romance titled Divinity. Here is a little blurb what it’s about …

Set in modern day Los Angeles, demon hunter, Evelyn Brighton, saves unsuspecting humans from the masquerading demons around them under the direction of The Lebriga Corporation. Her world is turned on its ear when she is ordered to train cocky new recruit, Daniel Summers. They both feel the pull, drawing them into one another, but the evil looming over the city forces them to hold back their desires. Will their restraint be enough to keep them focused and save Los Angeles or will evil forces prevail for a change?

Da da duuuuuuun!

So, are you excited? I’m soooooooo excited!! In the coming months as we get this loverly little story all spit polished and cleaned up for your reading pleasure, I will be sure to keep you updated on how things are moving, not to mention some visual aids, as you know I enjoy sharing with you, and whatever else I might pull out of my proverbial hat 🙂

Please stay tuned, I know my site has been wonky and running over the bandwidth toward the end of the month and we are trying to get that hammered out and fixed. I love you all bunches and I can’t wait for you to get your hot little paws on this new piece!!

Until next time,

Patty <3
