Sunday Six!

Salutations my salacious little love monkeys!

Are you ready for this week’s Six Sentence Sunday? Brought to you by the lovely ladies at Six Sentence Sunday!

You know the rules, right?

via Six Sentence Sunday FAQ page:

Pick six (6) sentences from anything you like (it can be from a Work in Progress (WiP), something you recently sold, something you hope to sell or even something already under contract and available for purchase – and don’t worry, Six Sentence Sunday is for published AND unpublished writers). Then post them on your blog on Sunday. That’s all there is to it!

Okay now that we have that out of the way, let’s get down to b’ness! As I mentioned on Friday I was contemplating giving you Six Sentences from Divinity. Now mind you, I’m in the first round of edits with my developmental editor so this is still technically a WiP but it is a soon to be published WiP 🙂

If you remember, I showed you one of my visual aids for my leading lady, Miss Evelyn Brighton-

– here is a bit more on Evie.

~~~
Instinct.
My name is Evelyn Elizabeth Brighton. I work for the Lebriga Corporation. And I hunt demons.
If you were to see me on the street I would look like any other twenty-three year old, give or take a year or two. And once upon a time, I was.
~~~

Am I making you more curious about Divinity? I sure as heck hope so! You can check out the little blurb over on Goodreads, if you like and while you’re there, shoot me a friend request, I like new friends!!

Alrighty monkeys, don’t forget to check and see who else has signed up for Six Sentence Sunday and what they have up to offer!

Until next time,

Patty <3

Happy Friday: Introductions!

Posted on by Patricia Leever

Happy Friday my bubbly little love monkeys! Did you attack this week in the night like the ninja’s that you are? You’re nunchuckity right you did!

I’m super duper excited! I’ve gotten my first round of edits back for Divinity and after reading her notes I am so jazzed as ding dangly heck to jump in and get to work! There are some awesome changes that we are going to be making that is going to make the story so much better!!

So, that having been said, I just wanted to pop on in and show you a photo I found that is basically embodies my female lead character, demon hunter, Evelyn Brighton.

Looks pretty good for a chick that 135 years old huh? In the words of my hubs, “Is that your main character? She’s hot!” No mamby pamby wilting flowers for my man, he likes ’em bad ass!

So, that’s pretty much all I have for today, off to marinate on my editor’s notes some more before I dive into Divinity’s waters again 🙂 Don’t forget to stay tuned for Sunday’s Sunday Six and I may just tease you with six sentences from Divinity! Be good monkeys!

Until next time,

Patty <3

Saaaaalutaions my googly little love monkeys!

It’s time, once again, for Six Sentence Sunday brought to you by the lovely ladies at Six Sentence Sunday!

Yes, I know, I forgot to do it last week *makes with the sorry sad face* But have no fear, it is now etched into the stone of my life, aka, my Google calendar 🙂

What is Six Sentence Sunday? Well, here is the basics, via Six Sentence Sunday FAQ page:

Pick six (6) sentences from anything you like (it can be from a Work in Progress (WiP), something you recently sold, something you hope to sell or even something already under contract and available for purchase – and don’t worry, Six Sentence Sunday is for published AND unpublished writers). Then post them on your blog on Sunday. That’s all there is to it!

Okay, today I have Six Sentences from my Historical Romance novel, Cat O’ Nine Tails, available now on Omnific, Amazon, B&N and All Romance! So, without further ado, Six Sentences from Cat O’ Nine Tails, our hero Orrin in our heroine, Aeron’s island hideaway with her.

~~~
“Aeron,” he breathed, his lips brushing over hers, barely making contact.
“Yes.” She nodded, her eyes closing with a sigh.
Orrin smiled as he continued to tease her with feather-light touches.
She reached up, sank her hands into his hair, and pulled him closer. “Either kiss me or leave,” she panted.
~~~

Ohhhh, does he do it? Is he going to kiss her or is he going to turn tail and leave her panting? You’ll have to pick up a copy or e-copy of Cat O’ Nine Tails to find out! Here is a photo of Orrin, maybe he will entice you 😉

Have a great Sunday my darlings! Stay tuned for more blog fun!

Until next time,

Patty <3

Salutations my sunny little love monkeys!

Welcome to Six Sentence Sunday brought to you by the lovely ladies at Six Sentence Sunday!

So, today, without any further ado, I’m going to share with you the first six sentences from my new book Divinity.

~~~
Demons.
They’re everywhere, hiding in plain sight. Lawyers, doctors, politicians, the guy on the corner, the lady ringing up your groceries, your kid’s principal or the over exuberant PTA mom that runs every bake sale and fundraiser at the school.
Chances are you’ve interacted with one or two of them in your lifetime without even realizing it on a conscious level. But your body knew.
Deep down in your bones you sensed something wrong and unholy about them.
~~~

Are you thoroughly enticed? Don’t forget, Divinity is due be release in early Autumn with Omnific Publishing. And stay tuned for next Sunday’s Six, you just never know which 6 I’m going to pull. I could be 6 sentences from Cat O’ Nine Tails, it could be 6 sentences from Divinity or it could be 6 sentences from something that I’m in the process of working on!

Until next time,

Patty <3

Author! Author! Blog Bounce!

Posted on by Patricia Leever

Hidey ho my hippity hoppity little love monkeys! It’s Thursday and it’s time to get on the bounce train!

Now, you know I do love to find a pretty boy for you to look at for special holiday type times and dadgum if I didn’t try my little eyeballs off! Alas, I come to you empty handed because there just wasn’t anything worthy of your viewing. Not that there wasn’t anything, trust me there was a plethora of men in bunny ears however, the scope of “pretty” means something different for everyone and my scope for “pretty” just was not there at ALL! Suffice it to say there I saw things that scared me for life because there are things that just can’t be unseen and I’m not going to subject my precious little love monkeys to that kind of torture. I love you all just THAT MUCH!

So, I took another route, I found some funny Easter bits that made me cackle! Like this..

I literally laughed myself into a headache with that one! And of course, there is the classic..

HA! And THEN I found this one which I just HAD to add because, well, y’all know me 🙂

Isn’t that just AWESOME! And then that lead to this..

Trust I will be on the search of this one because if I can find it, you KNOW my youngins will be getting this in their Easter baskets!

But I did find this for the bounce..

Look, it’s James Marsden! He’s pretty, he’s hopping and he has Easter baskets! Don’t forget to head on over to the Omnific Publishing blog for bounce type stuff! They have a picture of Dr. Ivan, and I KNOW you want to see that!

That’s all I have for you today my darlings, stay tuned for more blog fun times!

Until next time,

Patty <3
